Loved the film – but its not really Bollywood?
3 November 2018 | by paulabrandle – See all my reviews
I have seen Bollywood films and love Priyanka Shopra. Really adored this film especially the angle with the Hijeeras – did not know anything about them – and its shocking how transgenders are treated in some parts of the world.

I went for this film because I read that it got banned in several countries because of the transgender characters. What I found was a beautiful film – some comedy, some drama – along the lines of The Big Sick or 100 Foot Journey (both of which I love). If you are a fan of either of those, do catch this one – but not for a Bollywood treat. I also loved the lead actress and will add her to my list of faves.
